Non-profit Boulder City Ballet Company (BCBC) was founded by Amy and Desi Arnaz Jr. in 1997 to provide proper dance instruction and performance opportunities for the many talented children in our community. We survive on monetary and material donations, ticket sales, corporate donations and a fabulous support group of parents and volunteers. We will happily give you a tax-deductible receipt for any donation you can make to us and will also send along a Grand Curtsy, a triple Pirouette and an enormous "THANK YOU!" Please think of us during the year if you need to make a donation for tax purposes. Every dollar you donate to us will go directly towards helping promote the dance and artistic lives of the children in Boulder City who study with us.

Our performances are held at the Historic Boulder Theatre near the Boulder Dam Hotel on Arizona Street.

Upcoming Events

Swan Lake. We are happy to present this classic ballet for the very first time. The music, sets, backdrops, costumes and dancers will be lovely. The dancers all study ballet with Miss Vicki at Dance Etc. The performance will be at the Boulder Theatre and tickets will be available in November of 2005. All seats are $15. We will pre-sell a limited number of tickets to the parents of the dancers before we open up ticket sales to the general public. Performances are at the Boulder Theater on Friday, February 17, 2006 @ 7 p.m. and Saturday, February 18, 2006 @ 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Little Red Riding Hood. Our youngest dancers (ages 3 through 3rd grade) will present this darling story through dance, song and narration. You'll see our little dancers perform ballet, tap and jazz dances dressed in precious costumes with wonderful lights and backdrops. The show is geared for children but we ask that you do not bring babies to the shows. We love babies... but they cry! Thank you for understanding. Tickets will be available in February of 2006. All seats are $15. We will pre-sell a limited number of tickets to the parents of the dancers before we open up ticket sales to the general public. Performances are at the Boulder Theatre on Friday, April 22, 2006 @ 7 p.m. and Saturday, April 23, 2006 @ 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Concert in "B". Our oldest dancers (grades 4th through 12th) will perform in this show that is being master-minded by Miss Anna! You'll see tap, jazz, lyrical, Irish, Hip-Hop and partner dancing to music performed by the "B"each Boys, "B"eatles, "B"ach, "B"eethoven, "B"est of... etc. The performance will be at the Boulder Theatre and tickets will be available in February of 2006. All seats are $15. We will pre-sell a limited number of tickets to the parents of the dancers before we open up ticket sales to the general public. Performances are at the Boulder Theater on Friday, May 12, 2006 @ 7 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2006 @ 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 14, 2006 @ 1 p.m.
