We offer wonderful dance lessons for children and adults in a clean and healthy atmosphere. We have 4 studios and all of our floors are covered with Harlequin. Our excellent teaching staff also teaches for Boulder City Ballet Company. Our dance season follows the school year (September through May) with a fun, splashy dance concert at the end of the season. Registration for the new session is held in August. Students are assigned to classes according to their experience and age. Pilates
Our Pilates Instructor, Danielle Best, teaches Pilates Mat classes for us and also has her own Pilates Studio in the offices above the Boulder Theatre where she works one-on-one with clients on her Pilates Reformer and other Pilates equipment. You will see the door to the left in front of the Theatre and that's the entrance to the Pilates Studio. The phone number to Danielle's Pilates Studio is 293-3142.
What is Pilates?
It is a unique method of body conditioning created by Joseph H. Pilates over 90 years ago. The method combines elements of yoga, gymnastics, weight training, and stretching into exercises using fluid, dance-like movements. Instead of isolating individual muscles, the exercises emphasize the mind-body connection and work all areas of the body in unison. By using gentle resistance and low repetitions with proper alignment and support, the method ensures that a little goes a long way. Pilates is ideal for people of all ages and fitness levels. Since the exercises are done with very little or no impact, even those with injuries or physical limitations will benefit.
