Transformative Travel, CAUSE TOURISM,

& COMMUNITY SERVICE

FEEL THE NEED TO DO A GOOD DEED?

LOOKING TO DONATE YOUR TIME TO A GREAT ORGANIZATION?

Maybe you've heard of Cause Tourism, Regenerative Tourism, or Sustainable Tourism? The future of tourism means being more thoughtful about tourism promotion by the destination and the activities of the guest while in the community. Regenerative travel is about working to actively improve a place. It prioritizes the regeneration and protection of areas over mass tourism, and ensures we’re leaving a destination intact for years to come.

We want to invite you to be a part of the future travel and tourism by considering the inclusion of time in your itinerary for a little trash pick up, service work with a local non-profit, or planting of new trees. Please call the Chamber office for more suggestions if you do not see something here that strikes your fancy. 702.293.2034

Christ Lutheran has partnered with Bethany Baptist Church to provide a safe place for elementary students to complete their distance learning while their parents are at work. A majority of our students are kindergarten and first graders; however, we do have some older students with special needs that would benefit from one on one help. We are looking for volunteers to read to these students and assist them in completing their homework packets. We are open 8am to 3pm each day, but a bulk of the help is needed between 9am-11am and 12pm to 2pm. Volunteers must be able to pass a background check.  Please contact Jessica at (949) 838-5769 if you would like to help.
